Why is my break over? ;_;
Mar. 6th, 2005 02:21 pmSo, it's the last day of spring break. What I have to show for my efforts:
-Look at apartments - and possibly decide on one
--> I *think* I may have finally decided on one... more about that below.
-Get tickets to Boston (Jen and I have picked them out, I just need to make sure she can pay me back and click "order")
--> Done! Just need to get paid back.
- Possibly/probably get a haircut >>;
--> Nope. <<; Will do if I'm gonna be Kira anytime soon.
-Work on Heihachi and maybe even start Kira
--> Heihachi now has a mostly-finished shirt (just need that stupid ring-thing and the rivets on
the shower curtain he wears <<; then I'm on to the scary vest!). Kira should get started
soon.
-Finish my crazy PoT fic
--> o.O Yeah, Momo, you're weird. But it's done, all nine parts plus epilogue.
-CLEAN! (My apt. and my hard drive)
--> So I FINALLY got rid of *some* of the boxes in my corner. My hard drive still needs some
help, but I'm almost out of CD-Rs.
-Spend more time with my kitty
--> Yes, my other occupation is "Sashi Pillow."
- Study for ISM and do the reading for Radio
--> Hah, like I was gonna do that? ><;;
- Perform some maintenance on my bike
--> Yeah, that should get done. Really...
-SLEEP!!
--> That's practically all I did. >>
Right... not too bad. I did do a lot of things, though I also didn't do a lot of other things. Ah well, such is life. The weather's finally shaped up - sun makes me happy. ^_^ And I *do* think I'm starting to come to a decision on an apartment. Sun Bay is looking very good, and what's looking even better is a suggestion my mom gave me this morning: if I'm pretty set on Sun Bay, then why not get more for my money and get a two-bedroom apt? Considering I can have two bedrooms there for what I'd pay for a one-bedroom on Archer road, this is a good point. Another room to keep my cosplay stuffs - and other random crap - in would *not* be a bad idea. So I'm gonna go/call back sometime early this week (poss. Monday or Tuesday) and see what they have available in two-bedrooms. If that falls through, a one-bedroom is okay, there's just not as much closet space as I have now. I've come to realize I have a pretty sweet deal here, which makes it all the crappier I have to move. Oh well. I'm just being semi-picky by wanting a balcony and a second- or third-floor apt, but these are important to me so I hope it's not too much to ask.
Ah, the joy of apartment-hunting. And my mom wants to paint my future bedroom. >> As long as SHE does it... Um, in other news... yeah, not much. Been workin' on a bit of cosplay, some cleaning, almost done with the first two Circle of Magic books so I went to B&N and thankfully found the next two (they come in nifty two-in-one sets so I only have to buy two books instead of four, whoo!). Aaand... well, not too much else. I've mainly just been puttering around, which is kind of nice since I rarely have time to do that. Plus it's really nice in my apt. during the day because it's all sunny and I can open the screen door and YAY for FL in March. Heh. ^^;
Okay, off to possibly buy more cosplay stuffs, or maybe just sit around and pet my cat. Or I could study. ::actually considers:: Maybe I'll look over those ISM tests later, to get a clue as to what I should be panicking about in another week.
