Man, it's been a long... well, not quite a week, but definitely a long couple of days. @.@; Let's see... so yesterday, being Tuesday, I had no classes of my own but had to be in by 10 to teach my 10:30 class. Spent the rest of the day at school working on the ISM homework, came home at 4 and did laundry, dishes, and other household chores, scarfed some food and left at 6:30 for night lab. We only had about five students show up, so the lab went pretty quickly, although one girl from Paola's class showed up at 7:30 *just* as we were locking the final cabinet. I guess she thought the lab was at 7:30, despite her saying she'd gotten my emails - in which I had explicitly said lab was at 7, at least twice. -_-; Anyway, we weren't about to re-do everything for her so we just sent her home (and why do *I* feel bad about this?). When I finally got home Jen and I went to Steak n' Shake for a snack (i.e. milkshake and fries ^^;) and then I came home and since Jen didn't want to hang out or anything, I just went to bed. (Not like I don't need it!)
Today was equally as crazy; got up and went to the AGN lunch (to which NO faculty showed up, dude, that's crazy o.O), worked some more on homework, and went to class. Of *course* he gave us a pop quiz the day the homework was due, because of course we weren't doing anything BUT homework all week (and thus had no time or clue to study!), so I don't think I did so well on that. -_- And then he decided to ask lots of questions and actually call on people, and I felt bad because it wasn't that I wasn't paying attention, it was that when he finally did call on me I had been so busy trying to follow what he'd just been saying that my brain was not functioning in the present and it took a good minute to process what he'd been asking. o.O After class I came home, went running, showered, scarfed some food, and went to the CLASSC meeting as the Graduate Astronomy Organization representative. Thankfully the meeting was short and I didn't have to do anything but say "here" at the beginning and end to prove someone from the GAO had come. Then I came home and got some grading done, went to Olive Garden with Jen for some *real* food (wai!), and came home. She had other things to do so I came back and finished grading just a while ago and *finally* got some writing done before this thing just gets lost. @.@
Right. Thank God spring break is next week! And! Jennie's coming to Anime Boston!! XD I'm so excited. I hope to get my tickets by Friday, and it looks like we will be able to fly in Thursday morning and stay for a few days after the con. So all you Boston people, clear your calendar for May 2-4-ish, because I'm going to visit you then!!
All right. And before I go, in case any of you were following it (and also for my own records), the third part to my crazy fic involving mostly Momo and Kaidoh is up!
Because of the Rain: part 3
There's also a link in that post to parts 1 and 2, again, mostly for my own records but just in case anyone else cared to read it... Guessing that's not many of you, but one can always hope!
Right. It's so bedtime. Gotta teach again in the morning. =_=
