So I know I haven't been around much; been busy doing a whole lot of nothig exciting, as usual. ^^; Been hanging out with Jen - yesterday ISM was canceled (and after we'd worked so hard on the homework too!) so I went home around 2 and Jen and I went out just for the heck of going somewhere. We got bubble tea and then hit the Army/Navy surplus store, where I found a bokuto for Heihachi for $12. (Rock!) We tried this one used bookstore (for a "big, old, important-looking book with a weird title" for Klaus) but no such luck. We also stopped at the oriental market and costume shop but didn't actually get anything. We spent the evening RPing and watching the Australian Open Asia/Pacific Grand Slam because they're in the middle of the day playing tennis when it's 9:30pm here. And if you're not reading Jen's journal (and even if you are), let me say, the commentary is... so bad it's good. <<;; "Yeah, he hasn't been able to beat the guys he shouldn't have been able to beat," and things like that. Oh man. I can't believe these guys still have jobs. Anyway, that's been good entertainment, except for the girls, who not only make a lot of noise every time they hit the ball, but some of them play in DRESSES. Little yellow sundress things. I kid you not. I'm ashamed for my gender. ><; Aside from the open, we've also been watching the VH1 "I love the 90s" and Discovery's Mythbusters, where I was very sad to see them unfortunately fail to set half of a barely-floating Roman trireme on fire using mirrors.

Tuesday's night lab with Joanna went well - we discovered that we can get the telescopes up and down without help, so that's good because that means we won't have to have the lab director come and help us (and keep an eye on us). Oh, and in other school news, I finally got the stupid sun I'd been stuck with swapped out for a decent Linux machine that DOES things (like print, and has a decent screen, and, OMG, has MOZILLA). Now I don't have to bring my laptop in every single day just to get anything done so I am muchly happy for that.

In other news, I totally need to pump up my bike tires. Really. I have to stop putting it off or I'm not gonna be able to ride that thing much longer. -_-; I'm just lazy. And also, randomly, my right foot decided to... hurt. I'm not sure why, or how, but it does. I have no idea what's wrong with it, but it's been on and off for almost two weeks now. I can finally go running again without dying, but it's still not 100%. I'm going to try to go easy-ish on it and hope that helps, but I went a whole week without running and it was... well, I wanted to go running really badly by the end of it. ^^; I also wish there was somewhere around here with a wall I could play tennis against, because I want to play with other people but I also want a wall to practice against, but have not yet found anywhere that has one. ::shrug::

As far as apartment hunting goes, I have one place I really want to check out, so I should get off my butt and do that as well, maybe tomorrow or next week (since nothing is open on weekends, which is really stupid).

Okay, that's really it for new and (non)exciting things. Gotta grade and do my radio homework this weekend (damn, that's due Monday, must start now!!).
