It. Is. So. Not. My. Day. ><***
Let's backtrack a bit, though. I went up to visit Stacie yesterday, and that was a lot of fun. She made me yummy fried rice (yay!) and we watched The League of Extrordinary Gentlemen. Now, I know most of my friends didn't like it (Skuld-chan in particular), but we thought it was pretty amusing. No, not the best film we've ever seen, but entertaining and cute at times.
"He calls himself the Phantom."
"How Operatic."
Heh. Yes, there were some amusing lines, and some interesting portrayal of characters (go Tom Sawyer!), and we liked it well enough.
Then we just kind of sat around and talked, etc., until I had to head home since Mom needed the car this morning to take Naruto to the vet (hee). But when I got home and was taking my CDs out of the player, the stupid thing jammed. And now it has eaten three of my mom's CDs and my Return of the King sountrack and I want it back before I have to leave in TWO DAYS ARGH!! There's nothing we can do to fix the stupid thing, and I think someone *may* be able to look at it tomorrow, or I'm going to have to buy a new RoTK OST and bequeath the old one to my sister, should it ever emerge from the car CD player of DOOM. ><* Why me? Really, why? And I got home pretty late, only to find that Jennie had made a big mess in my room while she was in there sewing, and had just kind of dumped the stuff I was working on in a corner and shoved it under the bed and I had to clean up before I could sleep and I was not very appreciative. So I left an empty pop can in her room by accident *once*. Was that really enough to deserve such a mess? -_-;;
Plus, I'm just feeling kind of icky, and somewhat tired, and it is SO cold outside. And I went to something like five stores looking for the last volume of Mirage of Blaze, with no luck whatsoever. Thankfully, B&N online had it for $20 with free next-day shipping so long as my order was over $25, and I can *always* find a book to buy. So I ordered it and it should be in Boston by the time I get back. At least something went okay.
Anyway. I think dinner is supposed to be soon (see me starving) but Mom's on the phone so I bet she hasn't even started it. And I should start packing, but amazingly I don't think it will be that hard. I didn't get massive amounts of stuff for Christmas, so I think it should be fairly easy for me to get things back. So I say. We'll see. Hopefully I won't get too many strange looks when my sewing machine goes through security. ^^;;
Okay, off to do... something. You know, I might even be able to finish Yahiko's pants tonight. And I do want to cut out the harness before I leave, so the vinyl won't get all bent and stuff. I dunno, might be easier to do when I get back. We'll see.
