Reg Day Antics

ad_exiaSo Reg Day was better than expected, seeing as I had almost completely forgotten it was Reg Day! o.O;; Starting with D&D Sunday night, I almost died (again! Sheesh! I thought I was a LUCK domain cleric?!) but thankfully, -10 is "dead" and I was only down to -9. ^^; Came home, couldn't sleep, but during early-morning internet wanderings I realized that Monday was Reg Day, not Tuesday like I had thought. So at least I found out in time...
Looks like Glenn is our new advisor, so once I dragged myself out of bed after a few hours of sleep I got my form signed. Classes this semester:
- 12.848J: Global Climate Change & Economic Policy (or something like that, I don't want to take it anyway but I have to -_-;;)
- 12.551: Geosystems II
- 12.650: Current Topics in Planetary Science (we haven't even decided on a meeting time for this yet o.o)
- 12.ThG: Graduate Thesis (oh yeah, that thing...)
I'm still thinking of listening in on that Archaeology class, but Skuld also wants me to come to her "gay film" class. They're at the same time though. Uh... ^^;;
Right. Headed over to the Aero Library and talked with Skuld-chan while they worked out our schedules; I get 13 hours of work a week, which is a lot but I could definitely use the money! Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up. Seems I was the only one who could do the middle of the day on a few days...
Skuld-chan and I also went costume-stuff shopping - I got Daisuke's shirt and pants at Garment District for $21. Yay! The shirt is a little more off-white than I would have liked, but I'll live. I already have the paint for the collar. Went to Pearl, got some foam for if I decide to make Claus' goggles (besides, if I don't make them it's not like I won't be able to find something to do with grey foam), and stopped in the thrift shops where I at least found Yoh's belt. Yay. We were also looking for white vinyl pants for Sol (for Skuld) but no luck there, not even in the sketchy store. But the guy there told us to go to Hootenany, which is right by Tokyo Kid, which I have to go to today anyway because LE 2 is out, not to mention the GetBackers (I typed "BetGackers"... o.O;;) manga, among other things. Gonna try to go there with Skuld later, either before or after making a Winmil run.
Uh... other than that... I'm at least less depressed than I have been for the past two days. The initial problem still exists, along with a slightly compounded component, but the third part of the entire issue has come and gone so at least *that's* good.
I still need to see FMA 17. And scan my LE postcards. And... uh... I'm sure there were other things I needed to do. Oh, right. Something to do with a degree list. And a Friday deadline. o.o
