This title is missing, along with my sanity.

Wow.

So I went to PetSmart to get Sashi some food. Yay, right? BUT then I came out and was going to run to WalMart to get a zipper so I could work on Satoko. But my car would not start. D: So okay, I've had this problem once before, when I was at Daisy's - the connector gets corroded and then the battery can't connect to the engine. So it needs to be cleaned off! But! I have no tools in my car, they are at home. Of course.

So I called Valerie and she valiantly came and picked me up and took me home so we could grab my tools and give it a go. One bolt came loose, woo! But the second I couldn't get at with a wrench (last time Josh used a ratchet on it) so hey, Target was down the block so we went there and I bought a ratchet wrench. Yay, right? Hahaha, NO, because the ratchet got STUCK on the bolt (I guess because the buildup made the fit too tight?) and broke off. And the connector's pretty dead/broken as well. Haha. And of course it's Sunday night, it's dark, and the new connectors I DO have and never got around to putting on require cutting and stripping the cable. HA.

So. We decided screw it, I have AAA so I'm going to call them in the morning and have them tow it to a car place (there's one within view of my car, actually) and that'll be that. Only I can't LOCK my car because the power locks don't work when the battery's not connected, and for some unknown reason the key won't turn in the lock so I can't unlock it that way. So I took everything out and I left the driver's side door unlocked and it's not like anyone can drive off with my car anyway, right? And we're going back at 8:30 and I guess I'll just, you know. Deal with it then. I just need the connectors on the battery replaced. That shouldn't be hard to do. Right? Maybe I can get an oil change while they're at it, I need one...

They are so going to laugh at me. Seriously. I'd laugh at me.

WOO. See? EPIC FAIL. XD It's so dumb it's really kind of funny. So then we went to Hops and had dinner. And here I am; so much for a nice Sunday doing nothing, right? Bah. At least we didn't drive to Ocala and get stuck there, right?

So the moral of the story? Valerie is awesome and hey, at least I know my car will be working when I drive down to Orlando on Friday.
