Have you ever really thought about what a strange word "momentarily" is?
So~ I picked Stacie up Saturday night! Sunday there was much cooking and sewing, in order to finish up the belts for our costumes. And then Stacie made the amazing obersvation: "Hey, I know you've always wanted Heelys. Why don't you get a pair and then you'll have Ron's rocket skates too!" And I needed new shoes anyway. So~ :D I only actually fell once, at least. XD And I think I've kind of gotten the hang of them now!
Monday was shopping day, mostly because we wanted to go out and partly because they've apparently decided to redo the bathroom in the apartment above me and it is LOUD and woke us up at 9:30. :P So we went out and found my Heelys and I got some nice-ish stuff at Old Navy and we just kind of headed all over until we came back to watch Heroes and pack. :D
Tuesday was tea at the Grand Floridian (yummy!) and sometime during that we decided that if I ever get married, I am so doing it at Disney. XD Which of course prompted Stacie to suggest one of her friends, who apparently wouldn't mind getting married at Disney, and much amusing conversation ensued for the rest of the week. XD; (Apparently he's an engineer/fireman/marathon runner? XD Not a ninja but close...) Then we checked into Port Orleans and got changed for the Halloween Party yay! It was so much fun~ We wandered all over and the occasional kid would run by just to look at us, which was fun~ We even made some cast member's week! He was very excited we were Kim and Ron. XD Though somehow we lost Kim's belt early on in the night - seriously, no idea how it ran away. o.O; But she was recognizable enough without it, so all was well. :D; We even got Mickey and Minnie ears and had our picture taken by the Cinderella coach, and got nifty Halloween Party frames to put it in. Plus the fireworks and parade were, as usual, amazing. :D (And here is a picture, isn't Stacie the cutest KP evar~? XD)
Wednesday was the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot, which was also much fun. I got a free $50 dining gift card just for being a Florida resident (woo!) and they accepted it at all the little booths, so that was a very, very good thing. That thing fed us all day. XD We particularly liked Argentina (mmm, empanadas~), though we ate at least one thing at most of the countries. Plus I also had the BEST apple strudel I think I have ever tasted in my entire life in Germany. It was perfect. :DDD The weather was a bit blah, sprinkling occasionally and getting cool and windy, so we ended up going to the store and getting longsleeved shirts, which turned out to be a very good plan, as we were quite comfortable the rest of the day. We bought some fun souvenirs, including a CD because there was this awesome group with bagpipes and electric guitars that played nearly all day and every time we walked by the stage we wanted their music. XD
Thursday we spent most of the day at Downtown Disney spending far too much money and generally being incorrigible. XD Then we switched hotels (we decided a bit late to stay Thursday night as well and Port Orleans didn't have anything open) to All-Star Music and I headed over to the Grand Floridian to watch the Halloween Party fireworks (again XD) while Stacie had to hop into a conference call for work. Then we met up at Downtown Disney and had a very yummy dinner at Planet Hollywood. Friday we toured the Contemporary and the Polynesian and got pineapple ice cream (:DDD) before heading back to Gainesville to watch Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons, though my copy hasn't gotten here yet (booo slow shipping!) so Stacie picked up one of her own, since she was planning to buy it anyway. And then we went to bed and got up at 4:30am to leave at 5:30 because she had a 9:10 flight out of Tampa~
Sooo~ All in all, it was a very good week. :D And now I have to go back to work tomorrow and get back to real life. :P But that's the way of things. At least Wed. is Halloween, and I think I may be wearing my Hogwarts uniform in to school if I can get over the fact that it involves a skirt and no one else in the department will be dressed up because Valerie is away at a conference. Though it's also tempting to wear Ron Stoppable (though without my awesome wig XD) because it was seriously an awesomely comfy costume. ^^; Alas, I wanted to go back to the Halloween party one more time before it was over, but Diana can't make it, and I suppose that's probably for the better, as my bank account is very low at the moment. But it was so much fun, I'm already looking forward to next year! Stacie may have convinced me to be Kida, in our attempts to represent underrated Disney heroines. XD
On a separate tangent, Diana came over today and we watched more Higurashi and some Chevalier D'Eon and half of Generator Gawl, because it takes place in Oct. 2007 so how can we not watch it before the month is out? XD Man, I really love that series. I have seen it waaaay too many times, but I still catch things that I never caught before. Or at least forgot I caught before. XD; It really does make even more sense the eighth time around.
And that is all for now~ ^^;
